Our client went through a major restructuring of its operations and needed an efficient marketing organization to support the organization in reaching business objectives.

  • Firstly, an assessment of which operations and organization levels needed to be supported by marketing and what were the most critical focus areas for growth s.a. customer segments, offering and geographical areas was conducted
  • Key constituents within each business area were also interviewed in order to establish the expectations for marketing
  • It was then assessed what strategic and operative tasks marketing should accomplish and what tasks could be centralized and what should be decentralized
  • Based on these assessments an organization structure was built with headcount recommendations and specific job descriptions
  • Key performance indicators were also defined for each marketing responsibility in order to secure efficient and effective marketing and proper strategy execution
